Ask Yourself Before You Ask Someone Else
Many entrepreneurs default to seeking expert advice before consulting their own inner wisdom. This pattern destroys self-trust and silences the intuitive knowledge that makes your business unique. Learn why asking yourself first is the foundation of entrepreneurial success.
If I could only share one nugget of wisdom with entrepreneurs, it would be this. Ask yourself before you ask someone else.
Entrepreneurship constantly confronts you with what you don't know and makes you think you know less than you do. The natural response is to look for experts who have it figured out.
Whilst this isn't a problem in itself, the pattern that emerges as a result is.
Routinely deferring to external expertise sets you up to silence your own inner wisdom and destroy self-trust. A pattern emerges through which you dismiss what you know but can't articulate and silence your inner voice that is trying to course correct.
Your Inner Wisdom Is Your Business Foundation
The things you know that you can't put into words are not meaningless; they are the key to your business success.
You are the foundation of your business. You.
Not just your brain or skills, but everything about you. At an energetic level, you are a wonderfully unique combination of frequencies that cannot be repeated. This is what makes your business stand out. The minute you apply a blueprint from someone else, you are quashing the very individuality that is the key to your success.
What is right for you and for your business can't be decided by what has worked for someone else. Sure, there are nuggets of wisdom but they have to be translated into your unique situation and interpreted for your style.
Inner wisdom is your anchor for making decisions that are right for your business.
Learning to trust your inner compass first will ensure that every valuable piece of information you come across can be critically assessed for its relevance to you. You will step out of the blueprint model of business and into unique creative expression.
In turn, you will feel more fulfilled, and your business will reach more people it can help.
Once you have begun to trust this wisdom that you already hold, you can take it further. Learning to interpret intuitive wisdom into business intelligence is an evolutionary process. No one else can prescribe it for you. When you learn how to listen to yourself first and foremost, you will have developed your principal tool of business development.
