Energetic integrity is the difference between a strategy that works effortlessly and one that drains every ounce of your energy.
Achieving energetic integrity is simple.
Every activity holds its own energetic signature and every response will either amplify it or disrupt it. Match the energy of the response to the energy of the expression and you have energetic integrity.
At a practical level, this means dropping into the energy of what you are creating and observing the details of its movement, form and feel and then doing the same for your proposed strategy for working with that energy.
Say, for example, you are putting together a retreat that will help people to heal a specific aspect of trauma. You need to get it in front of the right people with the right message.
Your first thought is to use ads to target people with the right interest.
So you drop into the retreat energy and it has this really calm energy like being wrapped in a warm blanket. Then you drop into the energy of running targeted ads and it feels kind of crunchy to you.
That’s energetic dissonance at work.
That strategy is not going to work for a number of reasons.
Firstly, the energy of the ads based approach will be starkly different to the energy of the experience and will put people on the wrong foot from the outset.
Secondly, the energy will pull you out of creative integrity constantly leading to frustration, exhaustion and resentment.
Thirdly, the energy being directed through ads will fail to maintain the harmonic that will attract the people who will really get what you are offering.
You can try to push it but it will not work in the way you need it to. It’s time to get a bit more creative. So you do what you are trained by life not to do and you stop. You take a breath and think of something that will be in energetic integrity.
And perhaps the thing that is right for you is to send out the information via your network. You drop into the energy of that and it holds the same qualities as the retreat. It’s a match.
Your strategy has been led by energy.
The way in which any business is designed, developed and brought to the world has a massive influence on how it is received.
Energetic dissonance is a distortion and it leads to distorted responses, like clients who ghost for example.
Every single opportunity you create will be reflecting a different kind of energy. How you work with that energy will create a harmonic that amplifies the energy (making it easier to be received) or a dissonance that distorts (making it harder to be received).
The mechanics of any response needs to sustain the energy of the creative seed at every stage of development, delivery and sharing. Energetic integrity is a 360 degree consideration.
Every means you use to deliver on the creative energy must sustain the energy. If you are looking for freedom, then a system or approach that demands structured focus on the specifics will not help the energy flow. In this case, you have to release the structure to allow the energy to flow through another means of delivery.
Pursuing a strategy that engages you in activities that operate in a different mode of energy will push you down but one that mirrors the energy will lift you up.
The energy behind running ads to generate leads is totally different to the energy of public speaking. Neither is inherently right or wrong, it’s how they match the energy that matters.
Visualising energy is the key.
If you understand this, you understand the guiding principles of designing your own business on your own terms. You will give yourself permission to move away from mainstream beliefs, thinking and wisdom so you can innovate the next wave of business.
Trusting your inner knowing, wisdom, authority… that’s the challenge. Hesitation will kick in when you put your intuitive insight up against conventional measures.
The truth is that you have more than enough evidence of the accuracy and efficacy of your intuitive wisdom but using it marks you out as different, which activates resistance and pull back. Trust is hard to establish and maintain when you are choosing to walk your own path over the one prescribed for you.
What does it take to trust?
It’s a journey that begins with accepting yourself, your path, your gifts and your expression.
It’s a process of coming into being and becoming your soul-self by embodying the truth you feel within. It is giving your business self the permission to move past the restrictions of labels and conformity to find a deeper, more meaningful voice to share transformation and inspiration.
There’s no universal solution, no magic wand.
There's your way and you are the one who will find it.
